Stephanie L. DeMora (B.A. and M.A. University of Arkansas; Ph.D. University of California, Riverside) is the Arlin M. and Neysa Adams Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center and incoming Assistant Professor of Political Science at Stony Brook University. Her research investigates the psychological drivers of political engagement and behavior of underrepresented groups. Her work is published in top journals such as the British Journal of Political Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Policy and Politics, and Public Opinion Quarterly, among others. DeMora is also co-author of Motivating Black Turnout with Celebrations of Community (New York University Press, under contract), and contributor to The Cambridge Handbook of Political Psychology (Cambridge University Press, 2022).
